The Process Behind Fine Art Aluminum
White Aluminum: All of our pieces are made using a special printing process where ink is heat transferred directly onto a single sheet of white aluminum. We use this aluminum due to the luminescence of the metal surface and guarantee of lasting a century without any fading. The finished product has a brightness, colour vibrancy and clarity that cannot be rivalled with any other printing technique. Each piece also comes with a backing that gives the photo depth and allows it to float elegantly on your wall.
Finish: Each piece is finished with a unique Anti-Reflective coating developed specifically for fine art photography. The anti-reflective finish is perfect for a wide range of lighting situations while still producing a bright and vibrant image. The finish also includes a special UV coating to fully protect the piece from exposure to direct sunlight.
FAQ
How do you hang the aluminum pieces?
All of our pieces come ready to hang with wall bracket mounts or a wire connected to the frame on the back. More information on hanging can be found on our FAQ page.
What does ‘Open Edition’ mean?
Open Edition means these images are printed in various formats, including in the calendar, and there is no cap on how many times these images may be printed. This is distinct from Jeff’s Limited Edition collection, in which the pieces will only be reproduced a limited amount of times, depending on the piece.
