Autumns Allure
On a glorious fall day, baby blue colours painted the skies above me, as I strolled down a narrow country path, I came across this tree exploding with warm and vibrant orange colours. As much as I would love to be able to paint a perfect scene encompassing this tree, that is not the reality of how I found Autumns Allure.
When I first caught a glance at this tree, I was driving and was somewhat late for an event, but these colours just stood out to me, and my eyes were captivated by them. I knew I had to return to photograph it. The event ran late, and the sun had set, but I had my intentions set for the next day. I was venturing back to this location. When I awoke, a fresh cover of snow had fallen overnight, instantly I feared the beauty of my discovery had fallen.
As I pulled into the parking lot, yes a parking lot, this beacon of light still stood. The leaves that drew me in were still there, and now resting perfectly on the branches was a layer of snow.
There is beauty calling to us everywhere, even in a parking lot, where I was drawn to Autumns Allure.

The Process Behind Fine Art Aluminum
White Aluminum: All of our pieces are made using a special printing process where ink is heat transferred directly onto a single sheet of white aluminum. We use this aluminum due to the luminescence of the metal surface and guarantee of lasting a century without any fading. The finished product has a brightness, colour vibrancy and clarity that cannot be rivalled with any other printing technique. Each piece also comes with a backing that gives the photo depth and allows it to float elegantly on your wall.
Finish: Each piece is finished with a unique Anti-Reflective coating developed specifically for fine art photography. The anti-reflective finish is perfect for a wide range of lighting situations while still producing a bright and vibrant image. The finish also includes a special UV coating to fully protect the piece from exposure to direct sunlight.

How do you hang the aluminum pieces?
All of our pieces come ready to hang with wall bracket mounts or a wire connected to the frame on the back. More information on hanging can be found on our FAQ page.
What does ‘Limited Edition’ mean?
Limited Edition means there will only ever be 75 pieces (any size) produced of Autumns Allure. As the piece sells, the price increases. Once the edition sells out, there will never be another reprint of this photograph.
Can I pick up locally at the gallery?
Absolutely! We always prefer to meet in person and show you how incredible the photos look on the fine art aluminum. You can order online and request a pickup from our Canmore gallery location.
