Product & Care

How are the art prints made?

All of our pieces are made using a special printing process where ink is heat transferred directly onto a single sheet of white aluminium. We use this aluminium due to the luminescence of the metal surface and guarantee of lasting a century without any fading. The finished product has a brightness, colour vibrancy and clarity that cannot be rivalled with any other printing technique. Each piece also comes with a wooden or aluminium backing that gives the photo depth and allows it to float elegantly on your wall.

What is the “Anti Reflective” finish on the piece?

Each piece is finished with a unique Anti-Reflective coating developed specifically for fine art photography. The anti-reflective finish is perfect for a wide-range of lighting situations while still producing a bright and vibrant image. The finish also includes a special UV coating to protect the piece from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

What is a Limited Edition piece?

Limited Edition means there is a pre-determined number of prints produced of each photograph. Once the edition sells out, there will never be another reprint of that photograph.

Do you authenticate the artwork?

We have gone to great lengths to protect the integrity of each piece of artwork. Every piece comes with a certificate of authenticity that will include the edition number and artist's signature.

How do I clean my artwork?

Please only use a high-quality microfiber cloth to wipe any dust or dirt from your piece. Do not use window cleaning sprays or any chemicals.

Can I order a custom size that’s not listed on the website?

Yes! We are happy to help you find a size that will fit perfectly in your space. Please contact us via our contact page and let us know what size and image you’d like and we’ll get back to you.

What if I can't decide which print will look best on my wall?

We offer a free digital art preview service for anyone interested in purchasing a piece from us. You can see the full details on how to request a preview on the digital art preview page.

How do I hang my artwork?

All of our pieces come ready to hang and with the appropriate hanging hardware. Sizes 36”/45” will come with a wire that spans across the frame and can be hung by a single-point nail or drywall anchor. Sizes 60” and up use WallBuddies which can be hung using two drywall anchors. See photo and video examples below.

If you’d like to see how the WallBuddies hanging system attaches to your wall with just two anchor points, please watch our short video above.

Wire Hanging HardwareIn some cases, a hang wire is better suited to mount pieces to your wall. The hang wire is used on a case-by-case basis and most prints will come with the WallBuddies system.

For our smaller pieces, a hang wire is better suited to mount pieces to your wall.

How do I handle my piece safely once it arrives?

Once you’ve got your piece home, it’s important to still take care when unwrapping and handling it. The aluminum edges can flake or crack if placed on a rough/uneven surface like wood, tiles, etc or if the foam is ripped off too quickly. We recommend placing a towel or blanket on the floor when resting the corners of the piece on the ground.
