Morning Ritual
I am lucky enough to have this stunning panoramic view just a quick 5-minute walk from my house located here in the valley of Canmore, Alberta.
This was a warm February morning where a Chinook Arch arced all the way across the valley. I call this Morning Ritual as most mornings in the winter I try to get out of the house and walk down to my favourite viewpoint. I take the camera bag and tripod with me and just soak in the view.
Setting up the camera and tripod, the glow started to get warmer and warmer, suddenly the light pinks turned into bright oranges and light purples. I clearly remember a jogger coming by as I was taking this photo, remarking what a great time to be a photographer. As we chatted back and forth for a minute or two, I clearly remember the orange colour of light up his face.
What you see here is the full panoramic of our cozy little valley, stretching from the three sisters Faith, Charity and Hope, calling the east end of Rundle all the way to the west end of Rundle.

Finish: Each piece is finished with a unique Anti-Reflective coating developed specifically for fine art photography. The anti-reflective finish is perfect for a wide range of lighting situations while still producing a bright and vibrant image. The finish also includes a special UV coating to fully protect the piece from exposure to direct sunlight.

How do you hang the aluminum pieces?
All of our pieces come ready to hang with wall bracket mounts or a wire connected to the frame on the back. More information on hanging can be found on our FAQ page.
What does ‘Limited Edition’ mean?
Limited Edition means there will only ever be 75 pieces (any size) produced of Morning Ritual. As the piece sells, the price increases. Once the edition sells out, there will never be another reprint of this photograph.
Can I pick up locally at the gallery?
Absolutely! We always prefer to meet in person and show you how incredible the photos look on the fine art aluminum. You can order online and request a pickup from our Canmore gallery location.
